AVOID...BEWARE. Having moved from Palm Coast, Florida to Radcliff, Kentucky, I must say it was a most dissatisfying experience. Everything was great until after they loaded the van and received the $1,800+ . Lanny Jr. assured us that we would hear from the driver every day in order to plan to be at the new address. The range date was from 6/8 to 6/19. We heard absolutely NOTHING from them. My wife called and received no return, emailed and received nothing. We were finally able to communicate on 6/15 where we heard " I am very sorry you have not received word about your shipment. I have been having problems with my phone and receiving voice mails. Your shipment is loaded and should be delivered the first part of next week. The driver will call you at least 24 hours in advance of your delivery to schedule a time with you. I have called him and am awaiting a return phone call." This is kind of like "the dog ate my homework."
Wouldn't one think that they would have at least returned an email? What a poor way to run a business based on false promises. Finally, on the 19th, the last "promised" date, we heard that the delivery would be "soon."
On the 23rd (three weeks after the loading date) and four days after the latest promised date, the shipment arrived. A lamp was broken, an antique roll top desk was broken in three different areas and is now unusable. The Great Atlas God offered a total of $84 for reimbursement for a 100 year old desk...again the poorest customer service. I spent more on lunches and tips than they offered for reimbursement.
A terrible, terrible experience...DO NOT HIRE Assured Relocation Services of DeBary, Florida or Atlas in general.
