I feel like the old bait and switch was played on me today.
I called on 09/09/18 to rent a 5x8 unit for a quoted $60 per month. I was told (after he paused to check paperwork) that they had plenty of units available and that it wouldn't be an issue to come in and rent a unit on 9/10/18. I come in on 9/10/18 and suddenly they don't have any of the units they told me were readily available the day before but that they had a larger units available for $85 per month.
I was told by the lady running the office that they were sorry but they had a new employee filling in and that she didn't know what else to tell me but they had no units available other than more expensive larger units.
At the minimum, I could have been offered a larger unit for the quoted $60 price for a few months and I would have been okay with that since errors do happen. Nope, nothing other than there isn't anything I can do...
As of today the online reservation services were also showing the unit I wanted to rent as still being available. I was told that someone was working on correcting this.
Poor customer service and a waste of my time after I drove to their remote location. Their prices are good but it seems like if you have any issue you are going to have a difficult time having it resolved.
FYI, unlike other storage locations you need to provide two months rent upon rental and pay a $20 fee for them to program you into their gate access system. Something to keep in mind.
