Lately, I had-and am still having- a very negative experience of dealing with this repair shop
(Expert Transmissions and Complete Auto Repair), in Voorhees Township.
The owner, Joel, accepted my car, for repair of the throttle, fixed-presumably- the original problem, (presumably, because I still did not test my car), and then, subsequently, during his final testing, my car acquired a new problem (idling engine).
He, categorically, refused to fix this newly acquired problem, unless I pay him minimum $300.00 to $600.00, plus labor (in addition, of course, to the original amount for repair of the initial problem).
That – still unfixed, and very serious- defect can, potentially, endanger my safe driving, especially, in the middle of travelling on the highway.
Due to such pretty sloppy final testing, my car acquired a new problem I did not have prior to driving to this shop.
While, however, it may happen, the car repair shop’s owner is supposed to fix the new problem, gratis – within preliminary discussed and agreed amount I was ready to pay for, upon completion of the original repair work. The shop owner, still, regardless, was insisting on imposing on me the entire cost of the fixing of the defect acquired while my car was under the care in his shop.
This repair shop owner made me sign an original agreement, but refused to provide me with a copy of that agreement –after my repeated requests to do so. I consider that a flagrant violation of the customer’s rights.
Subsequently, he speculated on a certain agreement’s term that I was never aware of, from the very beginning.
Greedy, sloppy, dishonest, unfair businessman, who was trying to take advantage of me, to rip me off, with attempts to impose on me the expenses I was not responsible for.
Don’t even go there.
