This was the worst experience I have ever had with any truck rental company I have ever dealt with. I have been a UHaul customer for many years and this by far was the very worst! When I arrived the agent, Jimmy, was on the telephone. I was there with my family so we just waited approximately 6 minutes after entering the office. When Jimmy got off the phone it was now 10:10 and my reservation was for 10-2. Jimmy was very short and didn't even courteously address us. He just asked for the name and I gave him the reservation sheet. He then said the truck had to back by 2pm. I explained we lost time while he was on the phone and this set him off big time. Ultimately, he decided he was not going to rent to me and attempted to call another UHaul to get a truck for me. I politely explained I would never rent from UHaul again so he didn't need to make the call. He did anyway asking the other store if they had a truck. I again, said, I do not want another Uhaul truck!!!! I sincerely believe this employee must be trying to get fired. He was rude, loud, disrespectful and attempted to be intimidating by taking away my reservation! It didn't work. I have already filed a complaint with UHaul. And will be talking with the UHaul Regional Supervisor. I am relieved my family and friends were with me to witness this terrible show of customer service.
