BUYERS BEWARE! Absolutely horrible customer service and work. I hired Oasis & I - 5 Rentals through UHaul to ship my late fathers possessions back to me via UBoxes. They caused damages moving things into the UBoxes, complained about having to load things into the UBoxes because of a back injury, and were downright rude to me on the phone when discussing the load. I’m sorry, but if you’re too injured to work, don’t accept the job you’re getting paid for! And now, when trying to handle the claim for damages caused, I’m only getting objectionable and unprofessional responses from them, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! If I could give zero star rating, I would.

I hired this company to load U-boxes to be shipped and stored for 5 months while my new home was being built. 4 boxes should have been sufficient but I ordered a 5th just in case. Harry and John were slow and inefficient and ended up using a 6th box. The 2 extra boxes cost me about $1000 to ship and store.

I am an experienced mover and once moved from Alaska to California during a sea storm with my things packed on a barge and didn't have a single scratch on my furniture.

Wow, did I ever have a shock when the U-boxes were delivered to my new home. Luckily, I had wrapped everything in blankets, tarps, etc. and then wrapped every thing in plastic. I also rented blankets from U-Haul but discovered that John & Harry didn't even open the bags they came in but threw them in the containers.

Boxes were crushed (they didn't know to stack the heavy ones on the bottom and the light ones on top). Both of my mattresses are ruined because they were not laid flat or stood flat against the wall but were just thrown on top of other things. Mirrors and Pieces of art that I had packed in bubble wrap were broken. My futon was crushed. 4 pieces of solid oak furniture were broken beyond repair. My china cabinet and dining room table & chairs were chipped and scratched. All of my expensive terra cotta flower pots were crushed. My metal rolling tool chest and my safe were both dented. Dishes and even my waffle iron were smashed. I could continue this list for quite a while.

Sadly, I will have to replace much of my furniture. I would have saved money if I had left all of my furniture behind and just bought new when I got to my new house.

I understand that Harry and John are both no longer working there but I find it appalling that this company hired them in the first place. I paid Oasis at I-5 Rentals over $500 to damage my possessions and I paid about $5,000 to move and store these damaged items. It will also cost me a great deal to replace my furniture. Bottom line: it will probably end up costing me about $10,000 because I used this company.
