The original first location I made my reservation at gave my uhaul away and kept calling me by the wrong name. I corrected him but he kept doing it. Then he said I had no reservation. He all of the sudden found it, and tried to give me a smaller truck when he realized that he gave my truck away. He wasn't even going to let me know. I then asked is it a 15ft truck and he said no. We gave your original truck away. When I called customer service they said they would issue a credit of $50.00 to my credit card and I will see it on 1/13/16 and gave me another reservation at a location an hour away, it was very far. So today is 1/13/16 and still no credit. I called Uhaul again and a older Caribbean lady that I spoke to said that the credit will be issued in 5-7 business days from today do to someone being behind on her paperwork. I then said this is unacceptable and while I was talking they put me on speaker so everyone could hear me. I asked her to stop calling me ma'am and she said it sounds like you just want to fuss. I said well I need my credit and she then said she will call me when it is being processed. I then called the corporate office and spoke to a man who was just as rude and told me that he cannot expedite the refund. I told him, I am not calling for that I am calling to make a customer complaint on the woman who just gave me horrible service and he hung up on me. This has been the worst experience and I am probably not going to even get my $50.00 credit. I used Uhaul to move here from Miami to NYC and the service was amazing and now from NYC to NJ but the service was horrible I will never use you again based on customer service alone. I will let family, friends and colleagues know as well. Thanks for nothing
