On Friday Sept 7th 2018 after calling around to many places in Wooster I settled on renting a cargo van from East side storage. I was told the price was $19.95 per day and 79cents a mile BUT IF I went over 100 miles the $19.95 fee would be waived. I even asked why other places in town could not give me that price & was told they did not understand how it works. Tom I believe is the owner & his son John both were very nice when I took the van. I went 152 miles & expected to pay $44.08 plus $10 insurance & tax. Imagine my surprise when I talked to another man named Chris the following day who said my bill was $111 !! I explained that was not the price I was quoted & he said he would put on Tom's desk & to call him Monday. I did just that only to have Tom say he did not remember me as well as what didn't I understand? It was only $111! I proceeded to explain our conversation on Friday & he cut me short said "was not going to talk in circles with me" The bill is $111 is on his counter and to come pick it up! Then he hung up on me!!! I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THIS MAN OR THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND WILL NEVER SUGGEST IT TO ANYONE I KNOW! HOW RUDE TO HANG UP ON ME! AND NOT EVEN GIVE ME THE CHANCE OF EXPLAINING. I CALLED CORPORATE AND WILL DEAL WITH THEM ABOUT THIS! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO RENT A U HAUL DO NOT GO TO EAST SIDE STORAGE!!! THEY DO NOT EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR!!!!
