What sizes are available and how do I pick my size?
We offer a wide variety of sizes to accommodate your needs. Sizes range from 5×5, or 25 square feet, to 10×30, or 300 square feet. Estimating how much space you will need for your storage items can be easy if you know what you want to store. Look at our size estimator guide for ideas. Our store managers are also trained to assist you in this process.

Do you offer RV/boat/car/trailer parking?
Great Value Storage offers parking for RVs, boats, cars and trailers. Available spaces include open, covered and fully enclosed parking.

What kind of documentation do I need to provide to rent a storage unit?
You will need to provide a valid, government-issued form of identification (e.g., driver’s license, state ID or passport).

Can I rent in person, or on the telephone?
Our site managers are happy to reserve units for you over the phone, but to finalize a lease you need to show identification to the site manager and sign the lease agreement onsite.

Are there moving trucks available to use?
Great Value Storage offers moving trucks at select facilities. The locations that do not have a truck will reimburse the cost of a truck rental (up to $50) when you provide the receipt to the site manager in a timely manner. Contact your preferred Great Value Storage location for details.

If I rent a storage unit from you, can my spouse, kids or friend have access too?
When you rent from Great Value Storage, you can allow access for other people you specify (or restrict access only to yourself.)

What are the differences between outdoor, drive-up and indoor storage units?

Drive-up units are ground level with a door that opens to the driveway area. You can pull your car or truck directly in front of the unit for loading and unloading. This type of storage is most convenient and represents the majority of our units at Great Value Storage. Indoor storage is only accessed from a hallway inside a larger building. This can be ground floor or multi-floor.

What kind of security do you have?
Great Value Storage takes great pride in protecting your belongings and strives to provide state-of-the-art security. We feature electronic gates with coded access, video surveillance, fenced and well-lit facilities. These features vary by location, so contact the store manager for details about a specific location.
